Rename a node
Log in to add to favouritesOnce a node has been created in Site View, you may want to change its display name, slug, or whether it's included in the menu. To make any changes, you'll need to be a member of a role with Update node permission for the node you are updating.
- With Site View open, use the tree to navigate to the node you want to update.
- Right-click or select the Action button indicated by the triple dot icon, to open the node context menu.
- Select Node properties from the menu. The node properties panel will be displayed.
- Make any required changes to the node.
- Press Update to save the changes, and the properties panel will close.
Note: Changing a parent/node slug will affect the resulting URL. The change will also affect any child nodes in your site structure. Changing about-us to about would affect all nodes that exist under it. For example, /about-us/our-ethos would become /about/our-ethos.
