Use the image editor to select one or more images uploaded to Contensis.
Selection is made in an image gallery. Single or multiple selection of images is determined by the multiple selection field setting.

Alternative text
The alternative text property determines if the alternative text field should be displayed on an image field. The alternative text can also be set to required once it's enabled, preventing an entry from being published until it is populated.
Mark an image as decorative
When alternative text is enabled for an image field, each image also has a This image is decorative checkbox. Select it only when the image adds no information or function.
Select the checkbox to mark the image as decorative and hide its alternative text input. The editor displays the hint: 'This image will be ignored by screen readers.' Clear the checkbox to restore the alternative text input.
The same checkbox and behaviour are available for images inserted into a Canvas field.
Description (Caption)
The caption property determines if the caption text field should be displayed on an image field. The caption can also be set to required once it's enabled, preventing an entry from being published until it is populated.
Dimensions
The dimensions property allows you to set the expected image dimensions for the field.The setting also determines what images are displayed in the gallery for the field, filtering out any images that do not meet the requirements.
Upload
The upload property allows you to set if you should be allowed to upload images to the field. Images will be uploaded to the folder set in the search box. The ability for a user to upload an image is determined by their role permissions.
Limit the display of images
This property determines which images should be displayed in the image gallery for the field. All images are shown by default.
