Update a webhook
Log in to add to favouritesTo update an existing webhook you’ll need to be a System Administrator or a member of a role with webhook permissions.
- Navigate to the Webhooks screen by pressing Settings in the sidebar, followed by Webhooks in the menu.
- Click on the name of the webhook to open it for editing. Alternatively, select Edit from the more actions context menu.
Any saved changes made to the webhook will be immediate, and may affect the integration. If you are looking to make changes for testing purposes, then it may make more sense to duplicate the webhook and test with a service such as Webhook.site.
Update the name
To update the name of your webhook, simply change the name in the name field. This name is only used for identification.
Update the description
The webhook description provides summary information describing what the webhook is used for. It is displayed in the Webhook listing.
You can alter the description by updating the description field.
