Insytful integration: setup and configure Insytful

If you use Insytful, you can surface your scan results directly in the entry editor to provide insight on how you can improve your content. Follow the steps below to set up the integration.

• You'll need to be using Contensis 16.2 or above.
• You'll need to be a System Administrator in Contensis to update your project settings.
• You'll need to be a Site Administrator in Insytful to obtain your alias and API Key.

1. Log in to Insytful.
2. Select Settings from the sidebar, and choose General from the menu.
3. Locate your API Key, and copy it to the clipboard. Make a note of the alias.

1. Log in to Contensis.
2. Ensure you are in the project where you want to enable Insytful.
3. Select Settings from the sidebar, and choose General from the menu.
4. Choose the Integrations tab, and locate the Enable Insytful toggle.
5. Having turned on the toggle, two fields will be displayed
   • Paste the API Key into the Insytful API Key field.
   • Enter the alias into the Insytful alias field.
6. Press Update to save the changes.
7. Insytful is now enabled for your Contensis project.

Any entry attached to a Site View node can use the Insytful integration. Open an entry, either through the entry listing or through Site View.

1. With the entry open, locate the Insytful button in the editor toolbar.
2. Opening the panel will enable you to view two sets of scan results:
   • Preview: when running a scan from the preview tab, you are scanning the latest version of your entry with any recent changes.
   • Published: if Insytful has scanned the node attached to the entry, you will receive the full set of scan data including SEO, Content Quality, Performance, and Accessibility.
3. If you want to see the effect of any changes you make to your content, you can start a rescan from the preview panel at any time.
4. If you want to navigate directly to your Insytful dashboard, you can do so by pressing the link in the footer of the panel.
