Update an existing form

To update an exisiting form you'll need to be a member of a role with Form Update permission. Follow these steps to create a form.

  1. Press the Forms button in the sidebar. The Forms drawer will open, revealing a number of options.
  2. Select Forms builder to open the Form listing screen.
  3. Select the form that you want to edit from the listing.
  4. The Forms builder will open.

Update name

To update the name of your form:

  • From the vertical toolbar, select the Form settings button denoted by the cog icon.
  • Change the name of the form in the General settings section.

Update description

The form description provides summary information describing the purpose of the form. It is displayed in the Form listing screen and when selecting the form in an entry.

You can update the description in the General settings section panel of the form settings. You will need to save and publish any changes for the form to be updated.
