If you no longer require a particular Block, you can delete it from the Block listing.

To delete a Block, you'll need to be a member of a role with Delete permission for Blocks. If your Block is associated with a renderer, then you will not be able to delete the Block. In order to delete the Block, you'll first need to delete the renderer – assuming it's no longer required – or update the renderer to use a different Block.

  1. From the Blocks listing screen, locate the Block you want to delete and press the Actions button, as indicated by the triple dot icon. A drop-down menu will be displayed.
  2. Select Delete from the menu. A type-to-confirm window will be displayed.
  3. To confirm the deletion, you must type the name of the Block in the text box. This will enable the delete confirmation button.
  4. Press Delete. The Block will be permanently deleted, along with its containers, version history and console logs.

This does not remove the Block code from your Git provider or stop your CI build from pushing a new Block to Contensis. It removes the deployed image and associated containers from Contensis.
