Create a default view

You may want to provide a standard set of views that your teams can use in your organisation. This can be achieved by creating a special type of view called a default view. You can create default views if you are a member of a role with the Manage default entry views permission.

Any view can be used to create a default view.

  1. With a view panel displayed in the entry listing or advanced search screen, locate a view you want to be used as a default view and press the Actions button, indicated by the triple dot icon. A dropdown menu will show.
  2. Select Create as a default view from the menu.
  3. The view will be copied and added to the default views list and will be available to all users of your project.
  4. A notification will be displayed confirming the creation of the default view.
